GitHub requires an account. The issue is public when you submit it. A maintainer reviews it before it appears here; submission is not proof of ownership.
For app developers
Fetch the directory index or profiles/<full-public-key>.json. No API key or account is required to read published profiles.
Match the full MeshCore public key. Never attach an authenticated identity to a public-channel sender based on its display name alone. Treat verification.status as metadata, not a cryptographic proof.
